Jose Mourinho remains upbeat that he will remain as the Chelsea manager despite the latest 3-1 defeat against Liverpool.
This was the sixth league defeat of the season for the blues, who have created a new record for the worst defence of the league title in the history of the Premier League. This season went from bad to worse in the space of a few days for Mourinho after he watched his team suffered a League Cup exit in their first-round at the hands of Stoke City. Last season, the blues won the league title along with the League Cup.

Sunderland are reportedly looking at the prospect of signing former Chelsea striker Franco di Santo from Werder Bremen.
The Argentine striker did not fare well during his time in English football, but this largely appears to have been the result of not getting regular opportunities. Since moving to Werder Bremen on a free transfer in 2013,di Santo has been playing regularly and this has contributed to an immense run of form. After having scored only four goals in his debut season in the Bundesliga, it looks like the 26-year-old has finally settled in the German league.

Werder Bremen have been given a major injury headache with the news that striker Franco di Santo will be unavailable for the upcoming derby against Hamburg.
After several years of struggle, it seems that Di Santo is finally coming of age. The former Chelsea striker, who was signed from Wigan on a free transfer, has been able to move to the top of the Bundesliga goal scoring charts with six. He is ahead of the likes of Thomas Müller and Robert Lewandowski, who are far more established players than him. This has led to transfer rumours surrounding the Argentine.

Werder Bremen manager Robin Dutt says that his team are extremely confident ahead of the new Bundesliga season. The club recently managed a 3-0 win over Chelsea in a pre-season friendly match. This good results has raised expectations in the last few days. Werder Bremen, though, have struggled for results in the last few seasons. They narrowly managed to preserve their Bundesliga status last season after finishing 12th in the table. This season, though, there is a lot of promise primarily from striker Franco di Santo.

The medical staff of the Argentinean team is believed to have made the management aware that Sergio Aguero is fit enough to feature in the semi final match against Germany
After that, it has been assumed that the striker would be a part of the starting XI of Argentina tomorrow.
Ideally, the management would have liked him to play as substitute in a game or two before giving him the starting opportunity, but, because of Angel De Maria’s unavailability, they have no option, but, to start with Aguero.
