Franco di Santo is reportedly targeted by several clubs across Europe according to the player’s agent. The striker is regarded as a top material in recent months and this has been largely down to his impressive form with Werder Bremen.
After having joined the German club on a free transfer from Wigan,Di Santo has grabbed the opportunity with both hands and has been an important player for them. Helped by the goals from the Argentine striker, the German outfit managed a top-10 finish. Even though this has been a disappointing campaign given their history, it was a successful one personally for the striker.
His 14 goals and just 26 appearances have brought him under the radar of several top European clubs according to Gustavo Goni. Since he has just 12 months left on his current deal, the player is now in an advantageous position when comes to negotiations. After all, he managed to come up with only 13 goals in 92 appearances for Wigan, who were ultimately relegated from the Premier League in his final season.
