WERDER WANTS DE BRUYNE BACK

Werder Bremen has confirmed that they are waiting to hear if Kevin de Bruyne will be made available for loan in January.

"Kevin de Bruyne's agent is aware of our interest in his services. I will be getting to know if there is a chance to re-sign Kevin de Bruyne on loan for our club," general manager Thomas Eichin told Kreiszeitung Syke.

"If this is possible, we will have to wait and see if such a deal can be really worked out. Everyone at Werder Bremen knows all about the quality of Kevin de Bruyne."

The General manager of the club Thomas Eichin also announced that the team still want to continue having Sebastian Mielitz in the squad and hope to extend his current contract which expires at the end of the season despite his recent disappointing matches.

He told BILD: "I have always handed Miele (Sebastian Mielitz) my support. There will be no change of opinion on this issue after one performance. But I am not talking about deals at this moment, also not with others on expiring contracts. Our biggest ambition these days is to get back up the table."

Meanwhile on the attacking department of the team, it is expected to be boosted by the arrival of the Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom as he could cut short his loan deal at Elche and make a move to Werder Bremen in January as the German club have already displayed interest in signing him and talks are being done with Juventus as they are hoping to make a deal with the Italian club hoping to make a permanent move for the 20 years old striker.
